This was formerly the Professional Track.  We are tailoring this day to help graduating PAs obtain the "tools" to get their first job.  Some of the presentations are appropriate for those Pas interested in making a career move, who need to go back to the basics of résumé writing and boning up on interviewing techniques.

TRANSITION TO PRACTICE is designed to assist a graduating PAs learn how to get their temporary license, and how to prepare for the Board. Congratulations – we know you passed your exam, but now what?  We'll guide you through getting your permanent license to practice in Pennsylvania. 

NCCPA Obtaining and Maintaining Certification is designed to educate the participants on what is needed to obtain initial certification and keep it! The speaker will discuss changes taking place with recertification examination and Pathway II, the examination process.

NUTS and BOLTS of a Job Search   How to land that first job!  Or, if you have a job, polish your skills!  One of the most important tools is your curriculum vitae.  Learn how to write a CV, and how to prepare for your interview. What questions you should be asking, how to negotiate a good salary, and tie it all into a contract.

Political Hot Topics    This overview of the legislative and political happenings in Pennsylvania that have affected the PA's this past year.  Learn what the new regulations are and what we hope to accomplish in the next year.
