Elections Committee Annual Report

Committee Chair: Nicole L. Buck, PA-C

Committee Members: Paula Holmes PA-C, Ron Mezick PA-C, Helen Hiserman PA-C, Lane Bower PA-C

Purpose of the committee: To supervise the annual election of officers and board members.

Committee accomplishments for 2008-2009:

• Student member elections were held and two new student Directors-at-Large were elected. They are Chad Jackson and Amanda Black. They will each hold a one year term that started July 1 st.
• A single ballot was cast for the following nominees for the following positions which each hold a two year term starting July1st:
• Secretary: Jennifer Romagnoli PA-C
• Treasurer: Christopher Lindberg PA-C
• Fellow member elections were held for AAPA House of Delegates representatives; and Director-at-Large had a single ballot cast as both candidates ran unnoposed. They are as follows:
• AAPA HOD: Tracy Wright PA-C and Dolores Soltes PA-C
• Directors-at-Large: Pam Minardi PA-C and Deanna Bridge PA-C
• Alternates for HOD: Jacqi Pagenkemper PA-C, and Lauren Zajac PA-C

Committee Plans for 2009-2010:

• We will be seeking nominations for the following positions for the next election cycle in the spring of 2010: President-elect, Directors-at-Large, Student Directors-at-Large, and Representatives for the AAPA HOD. Please let me know if you would like to run for any position. There will an article in the newsletter this winter with all the details.
• We will be trying to have an electronic ballot in place at least for student elections.
