BROCHURE: ADD A PRACTICE ASSET BY HIRING A PA
The PSPA has developed a brochure to introduce the benefits of hiring a PA to physicians, administrators, and/or office managers. This brochure is a must for PAs trying to create new positions in the medical community or to update employers who have previously employed PAs. It can be included with any resume or letter of inquiry. It is a useful tool to introduce the filling of a position with a PA that was originally posted for another health care professional when this is appropriate or may expand the capabilities of the posted position.
The brochure briefly discusses the Physician/PA Team, reimbursement, the PA’s roles and responsibilities, education, and certification. One panel specifically lists financial and clinical benefits to hiring a PA. The brochure closes with important contact information for PSPA, AAPA, NCCPA, the Association of PA Programs, and Pennsylvania’s regulatory boards for prospective employers to receive additional information.
This brochure is available free of charge to PSPA members. Please contact the PSPA to receive your complimentary copies. Click here to view the brochure.
